Working With persona Dolls
A three-page handout on how to get started working with persona dolls, written by Julie Olsen Edwards, co-author (with Louise Derman-Sparks) of Anti-Bias Education for Young Children and Ourselves. Published with permission. Using persona dolls can be a great way to spark discussions about gender and transgender and gender expansive children and community members with young children, without putting any students “on the spot.”
